Dayton, OH - The Job Order Cost Accounting System (JOCAS II) program implements DBsign for digital signatures.

JOCAS II is a robust cost accounting system with an open architecture based on Oracle9i information systems technology. Through its easy-to-use, web-enabled, graphical user interface (GUI), JOCAS II simplifies the cost accounting process and provides a detailed accounting of those costs. JOCAS II is currently used by Major Range and Test Facility Bases (MRTFBs); Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E); Space Command; and the Defense Security Service (DSS). These communities have relied on the JOCAS II application since the early 1990s and continue to trust the system to provide financial information for the decision-making process. From a technical perspective, the JOCAS II application is a complex application that supports Government financial regulations, and cost accounting business processes. JOCAS II conforms to the statutory requirements of the Federal Managers Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA) and is verified by Air Force Audit Agency as compliant with The Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990 (CFO). JOCAS II is a web-based application that meets secure sockets layer (SSL) and Government security requirements. It is comprised of 303 database tables and 308 software modules (Oracle forms, Oracle reports, C processes, and PL/SQL packages) with an estimated 2.8 million lines of code.
