The US Air Force's ABSS was the first application to implement DBsign in May 2000. At the time, and until recently, ABSS was a client-server type of application. With its move to the web, the application has now implemented the version 3.0 of DBsign with the new Universal Web Signer (UWS). ABSS is developed in Oracle Web Forms and the UWS simplifies the CAC login and digital signatures without using cumbersome Oracle methodologies.
